Trimmed Feet, before and after
"Leave some heel" is a common request but there are negative consequences.
These pictures are good examples of how heel length does not necessarily raise the hoof angle.
Heels must be kept in check or they will eventually lay down, push forward and cause pressure in the heel area.
Changes in feet in one year:
Improvement in sole/white line/hoof wall junction
and elimination of hole at the toe.
